A great balance of firearms,powers,upgrades,suspense,and 3-ton killing machines (armed w/grenades, rail guns, and Industrial strength drills capable of cutting through a human) named "big daddies"

All in all...that game is addicting as all fuck. I will only ever run into a big daddie/little sister when i am deathly low on ammo capable of killing the motherfuckers.

This is a blog from zybez.com that essentially wraps up the recent runescape addition. (this does not neccesarily reflect my views...it is only to show what the update consists of)

"Trading and Runescape: two inseparable concepts, or so it seemed. As of January 2008 Jagex will severely limit the trading element of this game, and what does that mean? You will no longer be able to sell or buy anything at a higher or lower price, with the margin being a measly 3,000 GP. "What!?" Yes, I'm afraid it will become a reality and there's little we can do to prevent it from happening. Jagex won't be repelled, they won't be deterred. This thing is coming, whether or not we like it.

What are the consequences for us, the players? There are a few things that will change drastically, upon the editing of that bit of code in the labs of Jagex LTD. For one, we will no longer be able to borrow and/or loan anything. This means that the old days of player altruism are now definitely over, with a little push in the right direction from our beloved Jagex Moderators. Secondly, merchanting will, effectively, be a thing of a distant past. What is merchanting, when the margin of profit or loss are defined by an exact number, given and executed within all trades? Merchanting and all forms of it die, no exceptions. If there is no free trade, there is no noticeable profit. If there is no noticeable profit, there is no merchanting. What else will we experience after this update is pushed through? No more scamming! That's right, there's a bright side to this dark, endless cave of updates. Scamming should, as of January, be nothing more than a faint memory, as Jagex will not allow you to enter any extreme prices in return of undervalued items. Huzzah, huzzah.

However, this update also brings a sudden end to most in-game Eventing. Events are usually based on some kind of award or compensation, that's the premise of most parties and gatherings. As we all know: money makes the world go round. This is no different for Runescape, and we'll learn that lesson the hard way in the months following January. Though, in all fairness, I'm extremely biased when it comes to this specific update. As the leader of Zybez Events, I tend to create and host a wide array of events every so often. These events are usually strengthened by some kind of reward or prize, as an incentive for people to log in and show up. Why? Because I'm a very realistic guy. I know most of these people would not show up if there were no prizes being distributed at the end. It's where we are today, within the community, and I had accepted that. Jagex, however, didn't; they've shown that over the last couple of days. Apparently they think money is not that important to the game, and we should all learn to live without an excess of it. Fair game, fair game, but they're forgetting one tiny little thing: It is that important! "Who are they trying to kid!?" I ask myself. I honestly have no idea, as it seems they've been thinking about this for far too long. They abruptly ended all forms of in-game altruism and player-hosted competition, with the flick of a switch. Have they really been thinking this through and will they, instead, present us with some kind of event organization? I really don't know and I'm starting to lose my care accordingly.

In conclusion, what have they done and what will happen? I think they've ripped out the last bit of altruism, leaving nothing but a selfish and egocentric community, or at least the seeds for such a society anyway. Money is important, to every aspect of the game, and they're trying to tell us otherwise. Eventing is ruined, or severely restricted at its best, and we're left with no other options to choose. Jagex has changed the roots of their game, which is something they will hopefully alter in the near future, but for now, my hopes are gloomy and so is the future of Runescape."

I've been watchin the new movies that have been coming into the flash portal...a review i read recently was right...too many preteens are joining and loadin watever they can make in a day. I know that there is nothing i can do to stop it, but tht doesn't stop tit from pissin me off!!!
